For the OP, as far as I can tell Smart Ram is part of iobit's Advanced System Care so you should be able to disable it from within that program
And there's absolutely no need for throwing insults at new members

Which browser are you using Sandboxed?
Dennis I am using IE8. You are probably going to shoot me but I'm the fool that asked a similar ? before. But this time I am sticking with you and SB.
By the way, my name is also Dennis.

I am using SB as default browser and have 2 questions for you:
1: Is there a box to check Not to delete name and password after using delete contents from SB?
2: check box for UAC?
I am getting a little more comfortable with SB as I was making it too complicated in the beginning so I will probably be back again with more ? on SB

I'm with hazel I think, and I'm not sure how you are using Sandboxie as it sounds like you may be missing the simplicity of it's use, and over complicating it.
To have it sitting on the sidelines isn't really the way to use it. You launch your browser "Sandboxed" every time, and as your experience with Sandboxie grows, so will your knowledge of how to configure it to suit your needs.
It not only protects you from Malware, it places absolutely every useless bit of junk that's downloaded to your computer while you're browsing, into the one location, to be deleted in one fell swoop.
And even "safe sites" can be breached by the bad guys without the site knowing anything about it.
So my suggestion would be to maybe start at the beginning with Sandboxie, and configure your default browser to always launch "Sandboxed".
Then pick our brains as to how to configure different things like "Quick" and "Immediate Recovery", as well as deciding as to whether you want to automatically delete the Sandbox when you close your browser.
Once you have it set up the way you want it, you can virtually run it and forget about it.
Hope that may help, and as I say, you're free to pick our brains as much as you like.
Dennis, which is my name also, I agree with your above statements. I was overcomplicating the program. As with anything new it takes time to figure out and find all the nicks and crannies in a program. I am feeling more at ease with Sandboxie as I use it as a default browser. I will update and have questions for you as time goes on. Thanks for being there during my trial and error time. Have a great week-end!

You can also configure IE's behaviour via Internet Options / Content / Settings.
Found the solution:
Go into CCleaner/options/cookies/and there is where you highlight the ones you want to save and add it to the cookies to keep in the right column. I know this works as I have tested it.

Born have you tryed unticking every Browser checkbox??? Including non supported browsers. Might sound a strange thing un checking un associated chks but might help narrow it down
1: log in sites
2: close browser
3: reopen browser checking still logged in
4: close browser
5: uncheck all browser chks
6: run ccleaner
7: check login
8: report back

Ignore CCleaner for a minute, if you enter a user and password in IE, the close IE, reopen IE and go back to that site does it remember your credentials?

I must admit, even though all of my registry entries and IE Options appear to be set correctly, I can't get saved form passwords to work. I don't use it normally and originally answered 'no' to saving passwords - but now in investigating this thread it doesn't seem to want to turn back on.
If I use another clean user it's fine, so it would appear that something is not being properly reset in my normal user. There are loads of articles on google about people having similar problems.
If I log in and close out a site and go back later that day it DOES remember name and password. The deletion comes from when I run CCleaner v 2.29.1111 and even previous versions.
I use CCleaner maybe once a week along with IE8 deleting browser history just before I do my weekly back-up.
I can live with it but it is rather annoying to re-enter name and password to my favorite five tech forums.

And in CCleaner you have 'Autocomplete form history' unchecked?
Yes. It is unchecked. It appears to be greyed out but still unchecked. CCleaner was free if that helps.

There've been a lot of topics on Sandboxie over recent months, and it might be worth having a look through some of them, but if you are still puzzled by anything, just ask the question and there are plenty of guys who'll jump in with advice:

I worked with Sandboxie for a couple of weeks and now understand it a bit more. I can see its value if you are surfing all over the place but I don't unless it I know the site is safe and if I wasn't sure then I would click on Sandboxie and begin to search. I was having a hard time when I would download a program(just to check it out) and up came a SB tag.
So my question is how do I use both SB and IE8 together but keep SB sitting on the sidelines only to be used when I go searching.
I use a program called WOT which tells me the site I am going to is safe or not with 3 colored coded circles. Green, yellow and red.
I am sorry for wasting IDENT's time with my sarcarsm but I couldn't help myself.

Now why FF versuses IE8 and if I do this why not get rid of windows firewall and go free Zone Alarm?

Fanboy's AdBlock list is great for blocking ads in Firefox, Opera, SRWare Iron (that is based off of Chrome). Here is the link to that: http://www.fanboy.co.nz/adblock/. However, if you are using just regular Google Chrome, or Chromium, you will need to use one of their adblock extensions. I would recommend this adblock extension over all of the others for Google Chrome/Chromium, mainly because it's worked better for me: https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail...cnamgkkbiglidom. For Firefox, use AdBlock Plus like Andavari said.
What do you recommend for IE 8? I know alot of techs don't like it but I haven't had many issues with them.
Do I have to change mailing address ???????@msn.com if I switch to FF?

Aside from all the cookie and donut jokes let's talk about Sandboxie.
Today I ran SAS and picked up 11 adware tracking cookies which directed me to restart. I then went into Sandboxie and deleted all 11 threats most of them are listed above in page 5.
My question is when I go to browse it ask me to log in again to all my favorites is this a normal proceedure? Is there a way in Sandboxie which will delete without having to sign in again?
Is there a way to set up my computer or stop all the same daily threats?

I would recommend you first walk through their Getting Started Tutorial (there are 6 parts). This will help explain some basic concepts.
Some new users try to jump in quickly with elaborate sandbox configurations. I'm not so sure that's a good idea initially. My opinion is new users should first get familar with the default settings and basic Sandboxie functions...particularly issues such as running their browser sandboxed, Immediate and Quick Recovery, Program View versus Files and Folder View, and sandbox deletion (which you've now mastered!). These are well-covered in the tutorial and having a good understanding of those functions provides a foundation for more advanced configurations.
Great response as I am guilty of jumping in too quickly. I will take time to go thru the tutorial and get back if I need anymore help. Thanks again for all the assistance!
