@tempguest yep, that's right. it's not an essential file and windows would recreate it everytime if it gets deleted.
@winapp2.ini yep, it works. you can include it. %username% is the same as your windows username you are on. every windows user get it's own sandbox.
eg.
\Sandbox\tempguest\DefaultBox\
\Sandbox\Winapp2.ini\DefaultBox\
\Sandbox\randomcore\DefaultBox\
\Sandbox\%UserName%\DefaultBox\
Since you're the only other person on here that seems to use Sandboxie, I guess I'll ask for your opinion.
Do you think it would be better off to modify the Sandboxie entry to erase the contents of all Sandboxes? Like this:
[sandboxie Container Files*] LangSecRef=3024 DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Sandboxie\Start.exe Default=False ExcludeKey1=FILE|%SystemDrive%\Sandbox\%UserName%\DONT-USE.TXT FileKey1=%SystemDrive%\Sandbox\%UserName%|*.*|RECURSE
Since I've only been using the default sandbox up until now, I just realized that no settings are contained in the above folder; just contents. So, if you have multiple Sandboxes, this will delete all the contents, but preserve your actual Sandboxes -- and their settings.

Oh, okay, I didn't know Sandboxie worked like that!
Thanks!
I just fixed it now! I made a mistake in the first edit (earlier today), so make sure you ad the entry as of this post.

why to exclude the virtual RegHives? can get wiped, too.
Why? Because I made a mistake. I fixed it in the above post
if you clear the sandbox using sandboxie control the RegHive file won't remain. everything behind your username will be deleted. so after cleanup there is no "DefaultBox" and because of this there are no RegHives inside of DefaultBox. the only file that remains is "DONT-USE.TXT"You're right for the most part, and I fixed it in the above post. However, Desktop.ini remains undeleted by Sandboxie (it is a hidden file).

Suggestion
I'd like to see an option to erase the contents of Sandboxie's default container folder.
Here's an entry that would do that, but preserve your settings:
[sandboxie Default Container (Contents)*] LangSecRef=3024 DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Sandboxie\Start.exe Default=False ExcludeKey1=FILE|%SystemDrive%\Sandbox\%UserName%\DefaultBox\DONT-USE.TXT ExcludeKey2=FILE|%SystemDrive%\Sandbox\%UserName%\DefaultBox\desktop.ini FileKey1=%SystemDrive%\Sandbox\%UserName%\DefaultBox|*.*|RECURSE
Although Sandboxie does have options to do this itself, I prefer CCleaner's secure file deletion method.
Edit: Fixed directories and files, thanks to randomcore.

There is a typo in the [Nitro PDF Reader*] entry.
Under the line, "Detect=HKCU\Software\NitroPDF\Reader\1.0" you're missing a space between Nitro and PDF. Without it, the entry doesn't show up in CCleaner even if a user has Nitro Reader.
Fixed:
Detect=HKCU\Software\Nitro PDF\Reader\1.0

Can you say what operating system you are using please.
Also are you making sure your browsers are closed before cleaning.
I'm using CCleaner 3.01.1327 64-bit on Windows 7 x64. I've made sure both browsers were closed; I waited a short period after closing them and even checked task manager to make sure they weren't lingering around.

It seems to be happening mostly with Firefox & Chrome Internet Cache.
When I click analyze, the correct number of files appear that should be cleaned out of those two entries, but when I run it, it only cleans a portion of them. Then, if I click analyze right after it finishes cleaning, it will show the correct number of entries remaining (a small portion of what it should have cleaned the first time around). I clean again, and the same problem reoccurs. I'll have to do 3 or 4 consecutive cleans to clear out all the internet cache files.
How to exclude a particular cookie for a particular browser
in CCleaner
Posted
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but I did search the forums pretty extensively.
I'm trying to exclude a particular cookie from being erased, but only for a particular browser (i.e., Chrome). I want the cookie from the same site erased when stored by Firefox. Is this possible?
Whenever I exclude the cookie I want after having only visited that site with Chrome, once I visit the same site with Firefox, Firefox's cookie will automatically be excluded -- I don't want this.
Any known workaround?
