HELP! I keep getting an error message and the reason is 'The device is not ready'. I'm trying to recover files from a SimpleTech external drive. The indicator lights show the device is on & being accessed. The thumbnails show the files are in excellent condition. (OC is Win 98 so secure delete isn't possible on HD but maybe it is on external drive?) Please help!
