hello Brunothedog registration should be "cleaned" only in an emergency. in worst case helps only a new installation and upgrading to w10 without registry-cleaning... I did not see nor read in the forum about this.

mrt gives me indirectly right and this is directly from microsofts hotfix-description: it is a ccleaner problem, means there is a change in ccv503 that canceled the support for xp sp2...that is not in ccv502. be it intended or not. but you have right --> xp with sp2 is out of date and no longer supported for quite some time and sp3 too from microsoft. --> with this context its alright that piriform also no longer supported xp sp2 and makes no changes for this and support only for sp3.
