Version 11 contains both native 32 and 64 bit scanners to make the best possible direct use of the system’s resources. The included starter application automatically selects the right edition based on your operating system. Neat feature: Updating the Emsisoft Emergency Kit 11 on a 64 bit machine will also refresh the 32 bit edition, in case you want to scan an older 32 bit computer later on.

could it be that windows 10 is the "home" but without name in the os-name?
similar as with windows 8 or 8.1?
i have also w 8.1 (its the "home" but no name in the os-name)

delete "winapp.ini"

and run cleaner to delete history ?
you can delete history without analyze
what about scan for registry ? always nothing to fix issue there.only scan every month ? not often ?
be careful with it. use it only in an emergency or if you know exactly what you wish to delete.

residual CCleaner files that may be causing the inability to reinstall or thoughts as to why we can't install?i dont think that old ccleaner files prevent a new install of ccleaner...
but if you think so --> delete the remaining install-folder (probably on your windows drive C: )
Want to put CCleaner Free on wife's PC to try, but cannot get it to complete download process(Windows 7). Get as far as the bottom window asking if we want to Saveor Openbut nothing happens when cliked on (either instruction).please try the download again:

The remaining time goes from "> 1 day" to as low as 3 hours. But then it goes back up to "> 1 day".
are there any active sheduled processes in this time?
no internet, av-scan, updates or something and no usage during the defragmentation i would suggest...
have you tryed quick defrag?

defrag is not neseccary on your ssd.

The few SSHD's I have used seem to no speedier than a normal 7200rpm
ive recently seen it on the shelf too...
for example:
wd have hds with 64 mb cache on offer,
seagate have sshds with 64 mb cache (only hd with "normal" cache size for this hds)
Hello can you tell me can I use Defraggler software on my sshd hard drive.if this drive is not a real sshd then you can use defraggler as on normal hd.
