New:
New cosmetic filtering operators: :has(), :xpath(), :style(). See detailed documentation at "Static filter syntax".
These new operators are to be used only for cosmetic filtering cases which are hard to crack -- more and more of these are surfacing (for example DOM elements with random class or id values).
When it comes to cosmetic filtering, preferably, always favor a plain old CSS3-based cosmetic filter, since they can be used in a declarative way, inside a style tag. But there are cases where no CSS3-based expression will work, and in such case consider these new :has and :xpath operators.
Note that unlike :has, :xpath is not a valid CSS4 expression, so they will always be enforced in a non-declarative way (in other word, javascript is doing the filtering, through document.evaluate).
These new cosmetic filtering operators can be "excepted" like any other standard CSS3-based cosmetic filter using the usual #@# prompt. Such exception cosmetic filters do not have to be specific however, i.e. you do not have to associate them to a specific hostname/entity.
Changes
The content script code responsible to implement cosmetic filtering has been re-factored:
- To harden against sites which tries to work around uBO's cosmetic filtering.
- To improve general performance and memory usage.
- To support the new cosmetic filters.
Closed as fixed:
Firefox
- uMatrix's fix to issue #540 has been imported into uBO.

I would recommend to install the "optional" KB 2852386 update. It updates the build-in "Disk Clean Up" tool. After that a user can SAFELY delete A LOT OF files from the bloated "C:\Windows\winsxs" folder.
supp: there is a advanced disk cleanup
C:\Windows\System32\Cmd.exe /c Cleanmgr /sageset:65535 & Cleanmgr /sagerun:65535
create shortcut...
with adminrights the systemfiles are be cleaned too.

When I clicked on "Check for Updates" it opens this page.(You may be redirected to the Filehippo page, if you are then be sure to click the GREEN download botton there, not the Blue one).you can download the latest verison of Ccleaner from Piriform.com and download it directly
sroll down on this page to the bottom to BUILDS and you can download directly from piriform (you can choose what kind of file you want - portable, standard, slim)

NoScript + uMatrix = cookie leak
- uBO was not suffering from the specific reported issue, but was theoretically suffering from the root cause at the source of incompatiblity between uMatrix and NoScript.
- Element picker: blocking data: URI-based resources does not work
- For certain rules logger does not show from which list(s) it originates
- Dynamic filtering problem
- Regex-based filters should not be case sensitive by default
- Preview "##iframe" in element picker, hides element picker
- Logger unduly discarding events in edge cases
- Complex whitelist rules never catch on localhost

- On the topic "Installing IE 11":
- I have a copy of the IE 11 stand alone installation program and a copy of the latest "Cumulative Security Update for IE 11". It allows me to install IE 11 even when WU "doesn't work". IE 11 checks whether or not a number of Updates are installed and will automatically download & install those Updates before it installs itself. Those updates are (I have those installation files as well):

Any suggestions what is a good minimum partition size for the win 7 and win 8 OSs?
if you deactivate the hiberfil.sys and set the pagefile.sys on another partition or hd + install games also to another partition... i have 64 gb used hdspace on w8.1 64 included hiberfil and pagefile (depends on the amount of installed memory!). --> perhaps 80 gb?
you could also turn off the system restore, if you dont need them.
with my w7 pro x86 i have 40 gb

i have a little luck, the update-history goes with me currently very well.
the rollup update seems to work fine. -
for all of yours who used the "Windows 7 SP1 Convenience Rollup"
it is already integrated
https://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=46103&do=findComment&comment=273632
After installation it will enables the user to free up A LOT OF EXTRA (!!!) disk space. And I am talking GBs.with my experience... after fresh installed w7 pro and a few updates after the convenience rollup was the free disk space only a few MB (~50)
