  1. After using 3.01 and rebooting this is what I get for index.dat. Cookies and Low\History.IE5 looks normal. But TIF\Content.IE5 at 1,015,808 doesn't seem right. I thought a "clean" index.dat defaults to about 32KB. Can someone from Piriform chime in here? 3. Finally got a chance to try this, and it's still not working. I wonder if it's because my files have no extension? My other custom file/directories delete just fine ...

    Index.dat files

So what happens if you run CCleaner but do not reboot immediately? It wouldn't effect the deletion on reboot?

    Index.dat files

Out of curiousity, how does CCleaner delete the index.dat files? I notice the log says "Marked for deletion", and I know that explorer.exe usually has a lock on the files. When does CCLeaner actually delete the files?
  6. Finally got a chance to try this. Entering the file nas as foo*.* doesn't work. I think it's because the file(s) I'm trying to delete do not have a file extension. and file* doesn't work either ....
  7. Is there a way to use the "Include" feature so it deletes files with a non-extension wildcard? For example, all files in a directory that starts with Foo. So C:\example|Foo* I have a file that is created weekly with a slightly different filename each time (Foo1201, Foo1202, Foo1203, etc.) and it doesn't have an extension, so I can't choose a specific file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Detailed Log File

Is there a way to get CCleaner to output a detailed log file of everything it cleaned during an operation? I see that there is an option to "Show detailed log of Internet Explorer temporary files/ Show detailed log of Firefox/Mozilla temporary files", but I also want to see everything it cleans, including custom directories, files, windows temp folder, etc. Thank you!
  9. Is it possible for CCleaner to delete Chrome data that is not stored in the \Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data folder? If not, is this something that will be added to a future release? Thank you.
  10. In the Options | Include settings, add the following files for Chrome: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\Thumbnails C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\Web Data C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\Visited Links
