  1. That's a shame. I'm sure all those people who, like myself, have scant knowledge of the more technical aspects of a pc will agree that you guys are like gold dust to us.
  2. I don't doubt that certain governmental organisations have the technology to track anyone they want to. I also believe we are fast approaching the day when censorship of a sort comes to the internet. I'm not happy with either of those events but I don't see there's anything we can do about it. I read a report recently about a group of people who salvage old pc's from their local dump (in the uk) and sell the pc's on. They said that on 90% of them they found (supposedly) deleted files showing everything from business information relating to specific companies to peoples medical records and

  6. Hi everyone I'm a newbie and would be grateful for some advice please. I run Norton anti-virus software and use Windows firewall on my pc. I also run AdAware and Spybot for spyware and Winclean to clear my index.dat folder. Today I downloaded CCleaner. Have I now got everything covered or should I download other software like HijackThis? Is there a risk of these conflicting? Thanks for your help in advance.
