The user may be referring to Hotfix Uninstallers.
If you are using Vista, that would explain why you don't see the option.
When used in XP, all Hotfix Uninstallers are removed at this time.

Your web advertising states that CCleaner will clean out Windows uninstall files. I don't see this as an option when running CCleaner and want to be able to do it safely...e.g. maybe not delete uninstall files newer than a certain date. Suggestions? Thanks.

You are right. Under ADVANCED choices, there is an option for Hotfix uninstallers. When I check that, it does clean out most of those space-consuming files. Seems to preserve the most recent ones which is a good idea. Thanks for your help! Wayne
