CCleaner <--> ClearProg in CCleaner Posted October 22, 2005 Hello, I was used to use ClearProg but found CCleaner some days ago. I compared both programs and found some things which CCleaner seems not to delete: Internet Explorer Delete AutoComplete-Entries in Webforms Opera Cookies Typed URLs Donwload List Netscape/Mozilla Typed URLs + Last page Windows Windows Temp-Filder Clear System-Temp Open/Save Filelist File Searchlist Computer Searchlist Networkdrive list LastKey (Regedit) Clipoard There is also no way to do a "Secure delete" (overwrite 12 times with random code). What about these things. Does CCleaner delete them or are there any hidden features?
