turning off indexing for the drive and turning off windows search form services worked

I am now shutting off indexing and shutting off windows search service...will see how this goes... If no reply back here in 20 or 30 minutes it will mean this worked

Sorry..forgot to mention that i am running windows 7

newest version seems to hang on empty of recycle bin unless it is empty... freezes even if there is a very tiny file in the bin. no problem if the bin is already empty any one else have this happen and is there a fix

right click the cc cleaner icon and go to properties then go to compatibility then check the box that allows the program to "run as administrator "

the last two product updates...when clicking on the icon to begin the program i have a 15 second wait before the program opens...I am running windows XP and windows 7...both systems have this issue
