  1. kept this one quiet for 2 years , Microsoft don't even know how to use their own program , since they are paying someone to write smart spam filters. however if you try the following with outlook express , spam on your PC should be non existent because you are basically telling the mailman (Internet provider) not to deliver junk mail. 1. select Tools > Message rules > Mail 2. click New 3. check the box - Where the From line contains people 4. Check the box - Do not download it from the server. 5. click on contains people 6. address Book 7. then add as requ
  2. excellent suggestion . I do both , that is clear private data on firefox and run CCleaner on close . however if you save your whatevername.bat to c:\ instead of the desktop. you can then create a shortcut on the desktop to this the batchfile which will give you the ability to change the icon to your liking and run minimized (using properties option for your shortcut)
  3. if you reread my 2nd post I have said I have done this method by including files/folders for removal , but next time you do a registry scan and back this up you would have remove the reference to the files/folders for CCleaner backup in the "include" option until you are satisfied there is no side effect.
  4. Thanks for your suggestion , however if you read the original post again , I was asking for the option to remove these registry backup files as a checkbox option once satisfied no problems have been encountered . I have done it in the past using custom files/folders but in some cases using this option may require you to keep them or discard them which then requires changing the custom files/folders to suit.
  5. There is the option to backup changes to the registry after doing a scan for issues , can a checkbox be added to the application menu in cleaner eg "Remove CCleaner registry Backups" once you are satisfied there are no problems
  6. any chance of someone writing some code to add your new options to winApp2.ini instead of editing it manually , ie detects the registry key automatically for the directory files you want to delete. I am a mere novice and know I'm gonna wreck something sooner rather than later .
