  1. new entry

    [MTA San Andreas 1.3 Logs*]

    Section=Games

    Detectfile=%ProgramFiles%\MTA San Andreas 1.3\Multi Theft Auto.exe

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\MTA San Andreas 1.3/MTA/logs|*.*

    FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\MTA San Andreas 1.3/server/mods/deathmatch/backups|*.*

    FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\MTA San Andreas 1.3/server/mods/deathmatch/logs|*.*

  2. i think this need to be reviewed

    [Age of Empires*]

    Section=Games

    Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%Documents%\My Games\Age of Empires 2|*.txt

    FileKey2=%Documents%\My Games\Age of Mythology|*.txt

    FileKey3=%Documents%\My Games\Age of Empires 3|*.txt

    cuz i dont ever had this game, and its shows it in ccleaner,detect is wrong, it need to be more specified to Age Of Empires, in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games i only have halo, and its shows Age Of Empires.

    sorry for bad english :)

  3. [DiskMax*]

    LangSecRef=3024

    Detect=HKCU\SOFTWARE\KoshyJohn.com

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%AppData%\KoshyJohn.com\DiskMax|*.txt

    i think cleaning in that location every file with txt extension is not good idea, cuz users can make EnableDeepScan.txt file to enable Deep Scan, and it would delete its also.

    in my opinion it should be FileKey1=%AppData%\KoshyJohn.com\DiskMax|DiskMax Log.txt - to just clean log file.

  4. Change this

    [DatacardService*]

    LangSecRef=3024

    DetectFile=%CommonAppData%\DatacardService\DataCardMonitor.exe

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\DatacardService\log|*.log

    to this

    [DatacardService Log*]

    LangSecRef=3022

    DetectFile=%CommonAppData%\DatacardService\DataCardMonitor.exe

    Detect=HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\HWDeviceService.exe

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\DatacardService\log|*.*

    and

    [Tele2 Mobile Partner*]

    LangSecRef=3022

    DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Tele2 Mobile Partner\Tele2 Mobile Partner.exe

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Tele2 Mobile Partner\Log|*.txt

    FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\Tele2 Mobile Partner\log|*.*

  5. Does anyone know is it safe to delete from this direction

    in case of yes maybe add to

    [Windows System Profile*] as

    FileKey8=%WinDir%\system32\config\systemprofile\Local Settings\Temp|*.*|RECURSE

    FileKey9=%WinDir%\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\Local Settings\Temp|*.*|RECURSE

    or something :)

    also i have noticed that under [Windows System Profile*] most keys are

    FileKey1=%WinDir%\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files|*.*|RECURSE

    FileKey6=%WinDir%\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files|*.*|RECURSE

    but only FileKey2=%WinDir%\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Temp|*.*|RECURSE dont have sysWOW64 varienty, isnt there %WinDir%\sysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Temp ?

  6. [AIMP 3 More*]

    LangSecRef=3023

    DetectFile=%AppData%\AIMP3

    Default=True

    FileKey1=%AppData%\AIMP3|AIMP3ac.bak

    FileKey2=%AppData%\AIMP3|UpdateInstaller.exe

    FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\AIMP3\!Backup|*.zip|REMOVESELF

  7. Someone emailed me to tell me the MSSE entry is harmful. Apparently it removes the definition backups folder, leading MSSE to think it needs to be updated. Thoughts?

    Yes its deletes definition backup, but not definition itself, after cleaning with ccleaner and restart, my copy of MSSE remembers when was last update

    I thought this had been previously discussed, but yeah, MSSE only thinks it hasn't been run yet (and thus thinks it hasn't updated)

    however I think that the remove line Might be a little broad (yet another broad one IMHO)

    FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\LocalCopy|*.*|RECURSE

    maybe someone (dennis?) can post the contents of the folder (uncleaned by the entry) and we can probably see what doesn't need removal

    about localcopy, after reinstalling, or updating , or something else i dont find any files in it.

    so i find full [Microsoft Security Essentials*] entrie is pointless - at least for me

    and remove under

    [MS Security Client*]

    LangSecRef=3025

    DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Security Client\msseces.exe

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Security Client\Backup|*.*|RECURSE

    FileKey3=%CommonAppData%\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\Support|*.log

    FileKey4=%CommonAppData%\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\Definition Updates\Backup|*.*|RECURSE

    FileKey5=%CommonAppData%\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\Scans\History|*.*|RECURSE

    cuz they are already in original winapp.ini

  8. New entrie

    [Microsoft.NET Temp*]

    LangSecRef=3025

    Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%WinDir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319|*.tmp

    and i found about 123MB of temp files in here

    %WinDir%\SoftwareDistribution\Download\*|*.tmp

    and some tmp files in system32 folder

    is it safe to delete there? :mellow:

  9. add line

    [MS Security Client*]

    LangSecRef=3025

    FileKey5=%CommonAppData%\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\Scans\History|*.*|RECURSE

  10. Im using Windows XP Professional 32bit, im not very sure but google says me so, that this is about .NET FrameWork folder. The registry case is better one i know but, unfortunately i dont know much about registry and do not want to touch it, so i have to leave it to you

    :)

  11. in my case i dont like if after cleaning with ccleaner , those files consist information about pages i have visited (checked these files with notepad) + can save some space again, i know its very tiny difference but still :)

  12. Changed entrie

    [Windows Live Messenger More*]

    Description - sometimes there are bak files left from e.g. A-Patch or something like that

    New Entrie

    FileKey4=%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default|Shortcuts

    FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default|Web Data

    Description - Maybe its way to clean them together in one line or something, but these are files which arent cleaned by ccleaner, but i think needed/could be cleaned

  13. 2 entries

    [.NET Framework Temp*] - i think its named like that, cuz there were Framework files.

    LangSecRef=3025

    DetectFile=%WinDir%\system32\URTTemp

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%WinDir%\system32\URTTemp|*.*

    And maybe add something to clean up windows folder in general. maybe something like that

    [Windows Folder*]

    LangSecRef=3025

    DetectFile=%WinDir%

    Warning=This will remove Logs, Backups and Temporary files from Windows folder

    Default=False

    FileKey1=%WinDir%|*.log|RECURSE

    FileKey2=%WinDir%|*.tmp|RECURSE

    FileKey3=%WinDir%|*.bak|RECURSE

    what do you think, its only proposal :)
