i read in another sit that the problem with memory leaks persists..

is not a bad idea.. specially after finding threats like trojans,worns,etc.. in fact i do it like every week. restore oints takes a lot of soce. you can disable it and then re-enable it.

after deleting the thread,,,empty system restore.. tese threats always make a copy in system restore.

hope they'll fix the bloatware..or release a slim version without those crappy addons

i've tried some of then,,btw today acronis failed to my pc... don't know why..so i has to wipe hard drive off,make a partition[20gigs],format and reinstall....not that bad the run safe registry services from blackviper,and disabling some services in xp..[rpceed to make n image again from paragon and acronis..just in case.. and i think sometimes hard drive needs a break,,needs a really wipe down.1 passs with kildisk.works better for my seagate HD... all these took me like hour and a half..then update windows. and making an image is a good idea..save time.

guess is a faulty ide cable,,just happened to me.. bsod=driver,hardware related.

is it consuming more memory?...i guess so...

and guess what...25 min..means they're improving a lot,sometimes it takes me almost an hour.

well just by reading their forums there are many posts about the same issue=update. they promised to fix it...and i think it might take like amonth they posted.

read in their forum,they're working on it,but still some people compalining for updates.

hey guys one question-avira8-...does it have the update problem too?... i heard that version is more suitable for xp,'cause it doen't have the IPV6.

also...no updates during the weekends,,,think germans take it seriously...mean real germans.

i think this one install a toolbar...did you check when you installed?

did you try revo uninstaller.. and next time get ccleaner-slim version ..located in "other buils"

hey guys avira is really good,,,now the updates!!!.. and then it proves what we were saying..and really hope they can fix the IPV6 issue...
