  1. Thanks for the reply. > .. can be found via C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files I know this. By the way, this is a win 2000 system. And I found my mistake: These were FireFox entries. Unnoticed I had included 'Applications-Firefox' which I didn't want to include. And I use Firefox rarely. Of course I did a search for cookies and found a lot. But still the question remained. Meanwhile, I think I found the solution: I misunderstood the point: Even ccleaner cannot find out cookies no longer in use! Therefore: 'selecting Cookies' means: delete ALL cookies. Can you confirm this? .../RaMi
  2. Hello, I'm a newbie to ccleaner and I'm a german, so please accuse my bad English. First I did an 'analyse' with some checkboxes of 'IE' selected. Among other the list contains the names of the cookies selected but not the path. And it's a small number only of the many cookies in my C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\username\Cookies. I wonder why only these have been selected and among them there are some which I definitly not want to be removed. How can I find out the location of those cookies? Perhaps they are in an temp directory or something alike. Thanks ../RaMi
