Thank you very much Dennis for the very warm welcome. We really appreciate all of your feedback.
I do have some wonderful news. Since we do not track our user details, it is hard for us to do any detailed traffic analysis of our own. However, I just checked our Alexa numbers, and, just one week after our late alpha (early beta) launch, we have hit some really unexpected and high traffic milestones thanks to you and all of the other users who have been kind enough to try us out:
As of yesterday, our main Indian site http://www.yauba.co.in was the 13,263th most visited site in the world!
Also as of yesterday, our other, non Indian site http://www.yauba.com was the 26,322th most visited site in the world!
This suggests that, taken together, we have already become a global top 10,000 site online just 1 week after our late alpha release.
We are completely stunned and humbled by the reception the service has received, and we wanted to thank you and everyone once again for giving us a try. We know that it is not easy to give up long entrenched habits, and we realise that our service does indeed look and feel very different from other search engines. However, we firmly believe in our goal of offering a world class search alternative for the large number of Internet users who care deeply about privacy rights but who did not have a viable choice in the past. And we believe that the number of users in our first week of (essentially) our alpha test release serves as a testament to how important privacy issues are to Internet users everywhere.
Please do continue to share with us your feedback and suggestions. Pretty much everything is open for consideration, experimentation, and change during our late alpha period, and we want to make sure we hear from you. We do take you feedback VERY seriously, and we endeavor to answer as much of them personally as possible.
THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN
