Thanks Mal! I'm running new XP, 2 gig ram, twin 80 gig hard drives etc. Plenty of horsepower! Went back to 2.15 and everything is working fine, therefore I suspect some form of gremlin in the 2.16. Not knowledgeable enough to speak with any degree of authority, but the A/B comparison is telling.

Hi! Also new here, due to same problem as Mal re: CC 2.16.830/Firefox. Have tried checking Task Manager as suggested. No improvement. Just thought I'd let the techs know there IS a problem. I'm running XP. Any new updates/ suggestions? Otherwise I'm going to have to go back to an earlier version. Thanks for any help!
