My site
What do you guys think? I've working on it for the past two days when I've had free time. There's a lot I've got to change. Let me know what you think.

Looks good, have fun and good luck with it.

I have nothing available out here besides dialup and satellite, so i chose satellite via Wildblue, faster than dialup speed wise.

First off; I am an alcoholic.
They have to want help, do not force it.

Went back to XP Pro.
Linux will be installed again, either on a older PC or dual boot, haven't decided.

Good, may be it'll keep all those damn spammers away.

Nothing in my signature but my name now. I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and loving it, the other PC in the house will also use it someday after I get used to it more, sorry developers I won't be using ccleaner any more.
-
See signature.
My PC got compromised/infected with some exploit not related to conficker, and I couldn't fix it, so that gave me the reason to switch to Linux, love it, used before.
The exploit also affected my website via FTP, 6 files had some malicious code added to them, not sure how that happened, all the added code did was give out parse errors on my website, didn't take long to fix my website, my PC was a different story.

They are called DreamHost.
I heard of them, but never used them, hope it works out for you.
-
Good luck, mind me asking who?
The ones I added where ones I used over the years and recommend, my current host is Canvas Dreams, nice to have a local host and quite reliable.

All (except last one) use cPanel control panel.

Router only, cannot stand firewall software, not even XP's firewall.
Never had a problem for years, common sense also helps.

Avast (free version).

Nothing, when my sleeping habits are screwed up.

I strictly use OpenDNS for DNS, my ISP DNS suck.
That is a strange message, never seen before.
-
Yes, use domain and hosting for just email, website later. Or you could get just email hosting and use a domain you buy.
When you get a domain, get hosting elsewhere and not from a registrar (where you buy a domain).
You could simply put a dummy index.html (.php) page to use, till you decide to startup a site.

Believe I added enough information in mine.
Or is there something else that needs added.

Always nice to learn more and implement what was learned, fun stuff.
I'm self taught, started back in March 2002, though programming is my high point, web design/layout isn't.
