  1. Yes if I understand correctly, by default, you are using your ISP's DNS servers. OpenDNS claims to be faster and more secure. OpenDNS Overview
  2. Toolbar heaven.... *SHIVERS*
  3. Thanks for the replies... I went for a smaller hosting company which offers tons of features for a small price. $9.24/yr with a discount.
  4. Well I bought my domain... Now I need hosting... Anyone know a good hosting site? I don't need much space and would like to keep cost down Keith
  5. 2nd for PC Decrapifier. Just make sure you know what you are removing! Keith
  6. I use 1 router as my main access point, the other as a "client" to bridge the connection wirelessly so my girlfriend's sons can play the XBOX online from upstairs... All they have to do is plug in an ethernet cable into the 2nd router.
  7. I'm thinking about starting up a small side business for computer repair. I want to make business cards and have my e-mail address, contact info, etc on them. I don't really want to go for blah@yahoo.com because it just doesn't seem very professional to me. I was thinking of buying a domain name for my business but not necessarily setting up a website at the moment. I really just want it for an e-mail address right now. Is that feasible? Will I still need to pay for storage space, etc? Any information would be much appreciated Keith
  8. I just received my new replacement router and finally got my 2 router bridge setup working again. I may give OpenDNS a try.
  9. Sounds like you have a corrupt NTLDR file... You can try following these instructions if your up to it: NTLDR is missing Keith
  10. I think this would be a very useful feature for some folks as well! Just my .02 cents Keith
  11. Thanks Dennis Hazel also offered me some advice via PM. On topic, does OpenDNS work pretty well for you? Is it noticably faster than your ISP's DNS servers?
  12. Off topic but man your Opera looks so much different from mine. I don't think I've taken enough time to explore all the features of Opera. Like the icons in the top right of your browser window... Are you using a different skin as well?
  13. As a frequent user of CCleaner, the last thing I want is for CCleaner to take longer to run That's part of the reason why I do not use the new "Wipe space" feature. I can use Eraser for that... I want CCleaner to clear out all my temp files and non-necessities as quickly as possible! The others raise a good point... Without proper research, you could do some serious damage to your computer. swagger EDITED for typo.
  14. I bet it's a lot healthier as well. I don't know if I am ready for that just yet. I like my tea cool or cold
  15. It must be a US drink if you've never heard of Sobe Green Tea... It's in a glass bottle. Nutrional facts
  16. Ah no problem at all. Good luck
  17. My apologies.... But same info for the free version. SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition release info swagger
  18. You could quite possibly have remnants of the older version on your computer... Did you check the path of the files it showed as old?
  19. I love green tea but the brands I drink are loaded with sugar... Sobe in particular. I do get the Lipton green tea power in a can and use that now. It's a little bit healthier.
  20. Good catch, I can also confirm this on my laptop with Vista. swagger
