  1. I downloaded version 1.10.143 last night, installed it today and just finished taking it for a pretty comprehensive spin just a few moments ago. My C drive is 40 GB, secondary drive (F) is 200 GB, and I have a .5 TB external drive (G) with firewire for my backup files and drive images. I ran the following on all the drives: analyze, defrag, defrag free space, and then a final check drive for errors. G went fine and so did F, but when I got the C drive all defragged and whipped into shape, I clicked on "check drive for errors: and it stopped at 100% (stage 2) and said it was unable to verify drive and asked if I would like to run CHKDSK\F to fix the errors. I declined and decided to run it again -- that time it went through all 3 phases just fine and declared that there were no major errors. I'm not particularly worried but just curious about the discrepancy...?
  2. That worked, everything's skookum...
  3. The drive I mentioned in my earlier post (the defraggle that was going to take at least until Halloween...) took less that 25 minutes! SO...it appears that particular bug has been successfully eliminated. WAY COOL! And thanks to the developers for being so responsive to the end users (of course that is the way it SHOULD be but most often ISN'T...) Philip
  4. So, as per the suggestion in another post I'm thinking of reverting to an earlier version for now (I'm running 1.03.094) I had my hopes up, the first 19% only took about 12 minutes but I've been at 20% now for almost three hours. Does version 1.04.098 address this problem or do I have to go back to version 1.02.085 ? Thanks EDIT: Oh, and I see I misnamed it...sorry -- that's DEfraggler
