  1. It would save a bit of space if the portable versions of CCleaner, Defraggler, Speccy and Recuva could be put into one folder with a common Lang subfolder and portable.dat file. Even more space could be saved by removing files in the Lang folder that are not for the user's language. The current portable versions total 42,094,122 bytes and 186 files. It wouldn't need anything like an integrated launcher or combined functionality, just eliminate duplication amongst the four programs.
  2. Thanks. Now this stuff needs to be added to the cleanup options in Crap Cleaner. Edit: I've done all this manual deleting, but every time I launch Add or Remove Programs it restores all the Registry entries for removing all the .NET stuff, but NOW they all give error messages except for .NET 3.5 which runs the installer with options to repair or remove. CrapCleaner's registry cleaner finds that those entries point to missing files and will remove them. Add or Remove Programs puts them back. (Malware authors should take notes...) Deleting it all saved about 200 megs, perhaps I should use that cleaner util then reinstall all the .NET stuff and wait for Crap Cleaner to have the ability to remove the un-needed files and kill off the relevant Registry entries.
  3. Version 2.12.660 won't remove the XP SP3 uninstall files, or those for several post-SP3 hotfixes or those for .NET Framework 1.1, .NET 1.1 hotfixes KB25168, KB28366, .NET 2.0 SP2, .NET 3.0 SP2 and .NET 3.5 SP1. I don't know what the others are it won't remove because I deleted the $ntuninstall folders, which got rid of SP3 and the patches for Media Player 11 and IE7. CCleaner's Registry cleanup then removed the orphaned entries for all those. So now all there is are the .NET uninstall files. I get no error messages when clicking the Change/Remove buttons in Add or Remove programs.
