  1. Well, I finally completed my project - A-Z Freeware Launcher. Naturally this version is not written in stone and can never be changed, so if anyone who decides to take it for a run have any suggestions for improvement, then please let me know. Any comments you may have (positive or negative) will be greatly appreciated. Your positive comments will make me feel good that I have created something useful and your negative comments will help me improve the product in future versions. It should be noted that this version includes detailed text to help the less experienced user. The text guides the user as to what I consider to be useful practices and also provides information on each application that A-Z Freeware Launcher supplies links to. In the near future I will issue a Pro version which will be the exact same program but without a lot of the text. In other words, some pages will be tidier due to not displaying text. For anyone who is interested in more information or to download, please click the following URL: http://cash2u2.com/page3.html I sincerely hope that some of you may find my program useful.
  2. Currently the houses are manufactured in South Korea but apparently the company plans to have distributors in every country around the world. I think they probably mean many countries, not every country. According to the video, the styrofoam in itself provides excellent insulation.
  3. While I was snooping around Google Images, I came across Styrofoam Dome Houses. I ended up watching the video on it. Amazing! Never knew such a thing existed. I thought some of you may find it interesting. If interested, here is the link: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http:/...GGGL_en___CA294
  4. Very nice for sure Anthony. I really like it too.

  10. I decided on A-Z Freeware Launcher. Thank you again craigathus for coming up with that name.
  11. Thank you all for your suggestions! craigathus, I really like your suggestion or a slight variance to it - thank you. Again, thank you all for your time! What's your vote on the following 7 candidates: 1. A-Z Freeware Launcher 2. A to Z Freeware Launcher 3. any of the above with the addition of "& Guide" at the end. 4. Tool & Utility Launcher 5. Tool & Utility Guide & Launcher 6. A-Z Tool & Utility Launcher 7. Guide to Launch A-Z Freeware (or "A to Z" in place of "A-Z")
  12. Still working on it but will for sure let anyone on this forum try it when completed.
  13. ROFLMAO Your mind must be a scary place
  14. Like I have stated before, you guys & gals are very clever on this forum so I figured that I would ask your opinion on a suitable name for a program that I created. If you can't think of a good name, don't worry, you are not alone The program provides the user with a GUI for launching various freeware programs. I will have two versions of the program - one version will include offline information on each program as well as other guidelines for users who are not experienced with computer tuneup and security procedures. The other version will be the "Pro" version which will not include offline info on each program and not include any guidelines (i.e. a lot of text will be eliminated). My program can launch the following programs: Ad-Aware Ashampoo AutoRuns Avast AntiVirus CCleaner Defraggler Erunt Eusing Registry Cleaner JkDefrag Macrium Reflect Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware MyUninstaller NTRegOpt PageDefrag Process Explorer Revo Uninstaller Secunia PSI SpyBlaster SUPERAntiSpyware ThreatFire WhatsRunning WinPatrol ZoneAlarm ZSoft Uninstaller
  15. I looked online for definitions of application, tool and utility but still cannot answer for certain what virus protection programs and anti-malware/spyware programs are called (I think they would be called utilities, but not sure). I think Registry cleaning, optimization programs would be called tools, am I right? Also, an application is basically any program, is that correct?
  16. Woof Well I certainly love WinPatrol, which I downloaded after you had mentioned it in some post sometime. I like this Secunia program too from what I have seen so far.
  17. I came across this program yesterday and it seems quite useful. It found an old QuickTime folder that Search did not find back when I deleted all the iTunes crap from my PC. Also, it found that my Microsoft Word 2000 was insecure and needed a patch which Secunia supplied a direct link to. I had 4 other programs that needed updates. You may want to check it out. Note: you have the option of downloading the program or scanning online. For those interested: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ For those who do not know what a software vulnerability is: If you check it out, let me know what you think.
  18. YoKenny, Got a good chuckle out of those pictures

  20. I figured that some of you will find this quote hilarious:

    Copy & Past

I used to have the same problem hazelnut, but I found a way around this login problem. Just chose a forum, in my case I chose "Lounge"and save page as a bookmark (as a bookmark in my case because I use Firefox). Now every time click on the bookmark it takes me directly to the Lounge and I am logged in. Try it.

    A Sad Day...

I don't know you Lulu but I feel your pain and I am so sorry for your loss. The pain of losing someone very close to you, someone who lives in your heart, can be unbearable. As time goes by your pain settles and fond memories of that person will bring peace. My parents, both deceased now, had three sons and I was the youngest. Sadly, both my brothers are long gone. My oldest brother died in 1961 at the very young age of 27. He was a jet pilot with the Canadian Navy flying off the Bonaventure in Halifax and crashed his Banshee during a routine flight to burn off some fuel before he was to take part in an air show. My other brother died at the age of 44 in 1984 from spinal cancer. 1961 and 1984 were tough, tough years for me. I miss them to this day but have had many moments were I actually smile from some of the joyful memories. Again Lulu, my thoughts are with you.
