  1. Yes exactly, it expand the path.

    There is a simple way to resolve this problem by making CCleaner determine if there is a string (path) before %AppData% or not like this:

    CustomLocation2=FIREFOX|D:\Program Files\FireFox\Firefox\%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\jepi9yqn.default

    it contains "D:\Program Files\FireFox\Firefox\" before %AppData% So CCleaner will ignore this environment path ( or any environment variable )

    Otherwise if:

    CustomLocation2=FIREFOX|%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\jepi9yqn.default

    CCleaner will use this environment path.

    So i hope this problem to be fixed soon.

  2. I have 2 CustomLocations:

    CustomLocation1=OPERA|D:\Program Files\Opera\profile

    CustomLocation2=FIREFOX|D:\Program Files\FireFox\Firefox\%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\jepi9yqn.default

    And yes also tried to remove "\jepi9yqn.default" from the path and still not detect Firefox.

    It was detected before i changed firefox portable package from PortableApps to ThinApp that have %AppData% in it's path.

    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 - CCLeaner v3.20.1750 (x64)

    EDIT: BTW it's shows in CCLeaner but it cannot detect files ( cookies, cache, etc... ) when analyzing...

  3. Hi, i know i have requested before to custom add official opera portable path (that when use official opera installer and choose stand-alone installation USB) in INI file or CCleaner so that CCleaner can read it as it's installed in the system.

    I tried the suggestion page in CCleaner but i have found when i add a custom location it will delete all files: ex. cookies

    so please add this option.

    thanks

  4. Chrome I believe yes it does work, not sure about opera or safari, but you could also use a winapp2.ini to clean those browsers in their undefault locations.

    Unfortunately this doesn't support to clean unwanted cookies in Opera...

    It only delete the file but not what is inside of that file like opera cookies ( cookies4.dat )

    It's same like in CCleaner > Option tab > Include

    So If CCleaner add an option to set the Opera profile path when it's portable it will be great.

    And also for other browsers too.

    When add this command "FIREFOX|C:\Firefox profile" firefox appears in CCleaner, so why not add the same things to Opera and other browsers?

  5. It's just not possible to add, to the default program, portable applications. There is no Windows enviromental variable for "portable drive"

    The best you are going to get is using custom locations

    http://www.piriform.com/docs/ccleaner/advanced-usage/ccleaner-ini-files/how-to-clean-user-data-from-non-standard-mozilla-browsers

    Thanks for your reply..

    what about other browser like Opera and Chrome ?

    it doesn't work with this... ( only works good with Firefox )

    ( Opera and Chrome and Safari is also very popular browser )

    So add an option to set the path of Opera or Chrome or any Browsers manually will be good enough than do this custom locations because it doesn't work with the other browsers.

  6. CCleaner Doesn't support Opera 10 (Doesn't show Opera in Cleaner\Windows Tab)

    Also when trying to change the destination folder name from "Opera 10 Beta" to "Opera" and also the "AppData\Local" and "AppData\Roaming" folder like Opera Version 9

    But it's not work.

    So can you make CCleaner support Opera 10 ?

  7. Can you add another button in Startup page (Add a program) beside (Disable\Delete) button. To choose what program you want to start it with windows ?

    And if you can make an option in (Add a program) button to delay the the startup program.

    because when the system start with all the startup program in the same time it will be very slowly. So this option will make the important program to start with windows then the other delayed program will start after 30 second or 1 minutes. to reduce the system from error message or error startup program.

    This will make CC have a full startup options.

    THANKS

  8. No, I don't want this, it's not what CC does. There are enough specialised disk wipers without adding code to a mercifully slim progam (but creeping up - software has human characteristics, starts off slender and desirable and then gradually goes fat and lazy).

    Wiping unused space must be one of the world's most useless occupations. How often do people run these disk wipers? I've run one in about 15 years. As for removing deleted entries in the MFT, from what I know of the MFT, the way it allocates filenames, the MFT zone, it's mirror image, and Windows critical dependence on it, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. You only see deleted entries when you run something like Recuva, anyway.

    I respect your opinion but :

    I have tried Recuva then wipping Unused space with Other Program and open Recuva again then i saw the files is Unrecoverable.

    Attention! When a disk is wiped, all previously deleted files cannot be restored! No Windows or third-party data recovery utility can do this!

    So Cleaning & Wipping Unused space & Master File Table Records it's a Usefull for who want to Sell his hard disk or his computer to someone else, to be sure that his data will not be Restored Anymore.

  9. Can you make this program Cleaning & Wipping Unused space & Master File Table Records with secure deletion.

    And add new option in the setting to add delete file in shell explorer to delete files without open the program and select it to delete it.

    Becuase There is a secure deletion in the setting menu that delete the selected files only but not Unused space & Master File Table Records.

    THANKS

  10. Thanks for this great program.

    Can you add new item in the check box in Registry Integrity : fix (Add/Remove Programs) and (Temp Files / Shortcuts ) and (User shell folders) AND Add Deep Registry scan to scan for error or missing files in the registry.

    Thanks again.
