mscoree.dll "missing" after running CCleaner

Have received multiple messaghes when trying to use various programs after running CClenare this evening. Message says "The application has failed to start because mscoree.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. This is only the second time I've used CCleaner. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
