  6. According to my info (Shane from "Tweaking.com") MS will only make some minimal changes. The changes will be just enough to not annoy users anymore. We won't see the entire menu coming back. But we'll have to wait & see.

  11. New "Windows Repair" version available (v2.51). Version v2.50 had some Service related problems/bugs. Some Services were set to the wrong default start up state. E.g. 'Wlansvc"" needs to be "Auto"" on a laptop instead of "Demand". I hope we now got it right. Any suggestions/bug reports regarding this topic are very welcome. (post them at www.tweaking.com).
  12. Try this: Download "Windows Repair" and run it. www.tweaking.com There's also a ".Net removal tool" available but I haven't got a clue where to find it. Find it and re-install .net. Or if you don't like .Net then don't re-install it.

  14. O.M.G. Seems they wrote one flawed "security" subroutine and used that subroutine in all their software.
  15. @mta: Does Apple not provide a (smaller) upgrade patch like MS always does ?

  23. Thanks for the replies. It does seem the combination of Flash and some other software is causing this trouble. Now I need to find out which software. But I can't do without some programs. Complicated stuff, computers ...................
  24. Tried DF v2.17 and I can say the bug in the "Search" funtion, as described in the previous 2 posts has been fixed. Thumbs up for DF v2.17 !!!!
