  1. I constantly seem to have a lot of empty registry entries. Could you please add an option to remove all of the existing empty registry entries into CCleaner? Thank You!
  2. I have been using Defraggler for a while. It is definitely nicer than Windows' Disk Defragger. The one trait which still sems confusing are the two 'Defrag Freespace' options. I realize that this question has been asked before, but after reading that discussion I am no closer to understanding the actions assigned to these two options. I have been thinking that 'Defrag Free Space' would move the solitary blue clusters in the free space to the end of the other blue clusters. This is obviously incorrect. So, do these two options refer to the free space within a cluster? I would appreciate receiving a CLEAR explanation of these to options, since the online documentation does not refer to these options. Thank You!
  3. I just ran version 1.02.078 on my system. After it had completed it told me that I still had one fragmented file. I then clicked Analyze' and was told I had 35 fragmented files! So, I ran it again. It took pretty much the same amount of time to run as the first time. It gave me the same results. Once again I clicked 'Analyze' and this time I was told I had 40 fragmented files. I ran Defraggler a total of five times. The esulting statistics were always the same; the following analysis kept on changing. Finally I returned to Windows' Defragmenter. It recommended that I defragment my hard disk. I did so, using Windows' Defragmenter. The program ran for some time. I then had Windows' Defragmenter analyze my hard drive. Its analysis agreed with its results.
  4. I have been trying to figure-out what setting the 'Windows Size/Location Cache' check box does. I was hoping it would prevent me from losing the size of an application window but this does not seem to be the case. Next I thought it resets the Windows Explorer settings but this is also not the case. So, would someone please tell me exactly what this option does? Thank You!
  5. Thank you. I have added the website to my 'Favorites.'
  6. Thank you very much. I have one further question I hope you can assist me with. I found, downloaded, and extracted a 'Beginners Guide'. It result in a help file. I copied this help file into: C:\WINDOWS\HELP. Now I am unable to access it from Recuva. Why is this the case?
  7. Select the file(s) to be deleted. Click 'Options...' If one cicks on the 'Advanced' tab of the 'Options' Dialog Box (which appears when one clicks 'Options...') there is a field labelled 'Secure deletion.' In my opinion one should use the Combo Box to select the deletion method one desires for the selected file(s). Clicking 'OK' should then permanently remove the selected file(s). Unfortunately, THIS DOES NOT WORK!!!

  9. I am crrently in the 'Options' Dialog Box. When I clicked the '?' in the upper right corner the cursor is accompanied by a '?'. When I then click on a field or its label the '?' accompanying the cursor disappears but no text is displayed!
