I finally figured it out. I put it in the "personal bar" (translated from French) and then moved the personal bar up top and there it is!! Love it and it works, can put any bookmark up there and works great. Thanks to all, Normandie

Hope that I have not missed this somewhere, but is there a way to put a URL on the toolbar so it can be accessed quickly? I want to add access to gmail on one of the toolbars (not the bookmark bar on the side, but on top) as an icon (like the gmail button in the google toolbar) and don't want to install the google toolbar. Matt, Thanks for the help, tried that and it still would not let me intstall the print preview. Then I noticed there was a check box at the bottom of the install that said I could avoid the "max version" (I am using French, this is a loose translation). I checked that and it installed and worked perfect. Thanks & have a good day, Normandie

Well, after all this time and so many of you trying to get me to go to Firefox I finally took the plunge today and installed 1.5RC2, & what is the verdict? Well, I can't believe I waited this long , should have done it years ago, but I guess when you are old you don't like change that much. But this change it worth it!! Just a question now, I wanted to use the "Print Preview" extenison to put a button on the bar and it says of course that it is not the right version. Do any of you know of another extension that will do that or a way to make the one that is available work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. tommyk, To uninstall AVG correctly, according to their instuctions, download the latest "install" file of the free version and run it. At one point you will have the option of repair or uninstall. Of course pick "uninstall". That seems to remove all of their components better than any other way. Hope this helps, Normandie

I have notice another mistake in French. When you run the anaylse it says for example: "1.35MB ont ?t? supprim?" (this is past tense but they have not been deleted at this point) it should say: "1.35MB seront supprim?" (future) Great program thanks a million, Normandie

A few weeks ago I decided to see if Corel had any up updates for Wordperfect Office 12 (I know, no one uses it but me. I have been using WordPerfect from it's DOS days and it is too late to change ) It showed a service pack 2, I had already installed service pack 1, so I downloaded it and checked it for viruses, none listed, then hit the install key. BIG MISTAKE !!!!! It ran, said the computer needed to be rebooted, and so I clicked on "yes". When the computer tried, you noticed I said "tried" to start, Windows XP refused to load. I did everything, tried to start in safe mode, no chance, tried to start with last correct configuration, for 2 hours, I tried, nothing doing it was gone. With tears in my eyes I put the restore CD in and started to format the HD. Well, 9 hours later, after updating Windows, installing all my software and getting all things back as they were, I was tired to say the least. I did not lose any data as I backup everyday. Thank you Lord! So my conclusion is that updates are not always the thing to do. I should have listened to my Father when he said, "if it ain't broke don't fix it" The good out of all of this is that I have a really up to date, clean install, at least for a while. I just did a small UNOFFICAL test on my computer. 1. I left "prefetch" checked and ran the anyalze and got my ---- mb to be deleted. 2. Closed then reopened CCleaner 3. Then I unchecked "prefetch" and ran the anyalze and got ---- mb to be deleted. Guess what folks, the numbers to be deleted were the same! Then I did numbes 1 & 3 without closing CCleaner and guess what folks the numbers were the same. Maybe my computer is different, but I don't see that there is so much difference to cause this much argument. Hey Folks, Need some help if possible, when I get email in Outlook Express, if someone has attached a photo they always show up as attachements & in the email.
