  3. This setting worked for 2003 ghost recent file list- [symantec] LangSecRef=3024 Detect=HKCU\Software\Symantec\Norton Ghost Default=True RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Symantec\Norton Ghost\Explorer\Ghost Explorer\Recent File List Tried this setting for MRU's which didn't work- [symantec] LangSecRef=3024 Detect=HKCU\Software\Symantec\Norton Ghost Default=True RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Symantec\Norton Ghost\GhostStart
  4. Created winapp2.ini.Added Winpatrol,Giant and Ghost settings. The reg settings for ghost 2003 were different for ghost recent file list but not much of a prob changing them to suit with all three apps getting cleaned. Tried to add GhostStart MRU's as I have a couple of ghost images showing in the dropdown box that have been deleted using the same method but can't seem to get it right. Can somebody show me the correct settings to do it please.
  5. After running CCleaner I run System Mechanic to find junk files.SM finds up to an extra 4.5 meg of extra junk to delete so what is CCleaner missing as I prefer CC for it's speed. And maybe CC could wipe most of the dbx files, selectable, just by automated deletion of such as outlook will create new ones at startup.
  6. If you don't use the hibernation feature in xp and it's turned on this will generate a (junk) file equal to the size of your ram.To turn off, control panel-power options-hibernate and untick allow hibernation.
  7. Have you tried tools-folder options-view-show hidden folders.
