McAfee for me!

Earlier back a few weeks ago I suggested that they should add cleaning for Visual Basic 6.0. But what I didn't see was that it had already cleaned Visual Basic 6.0 when I went into the winapp.ini file. My problem I have to report is that CCleaner will not detect my Visual Basic 6.0 because I do not have: "Detect=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\6.0" So when CCleaner tries to find that regkey, it will not and I will not be able to clean visual basic 6.0. I suggest maybe adding: "Detect=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Visual Basic\6.0" That should then fix the problem. I'm not really sure if it's my computer alone or maybe a whole bunch with this problem but anyway I just thought I would report this. Thanks Jobartley515

Hi, I have something to report. You kind of have an error on your CCleaner.com screenshots. Some of them have Tools and Options on the side and on the top of the main window where it was on the old versions.

Does anybody know where to get OSR2.5 for Windows 95 and if so could you please tell me so that I can get that USB support on my Windows 95 computer. I have been looking forever. Thanks Jobartley515

There is an issue with the EasyCleaner Registry Scan. When you delete the registry issues, you will then delete your custom folders along with it. So watch out for this and hope this helps you people who have EasyCleaner. Jobartley515

I mistakedly posted a topic instead of a reply, so if you haven't seen the topic "Some New Options", than i'll say them again. Have an option to clean Visual Basic Recent Files(If you don't know how to do that, I can tell you....not sure if it will work on Visual Basic .Net), anyway that would be good and also have the choice to clean all but the most recent System Restore points on XP(it would be great to do it from there instead of having to go into Disk Cleanup everytime you want to clean them off). Another suggestion may be to move Check For Updates Now... over into the left panel with the other buttons. Another thing that may be good to clean off is the prefetch files in "C:\Windows\Prefetch". Something I forgot was that maybe to add the option of whether or not to search in hidden and system files. I think these options and features would be great for CCleaner. Have an option to clean Visual Basic Recent Files and also have an option to clean all but the most recent system restore points on a computer. Another option should be whether or not to search for hidden or system files. I also believe that the check for updates now... button should be placed with the other buttons in the left panel.
