I am using CCleaner version 5.43.6522 on Windows 10. Although I have all options for cleaning enabled, CCleaner always skips the cleaning of Internet Explorer or Edge history. It cleans FireFox and Chrome without any problems. Is this a known problem or am I missing something?

I am using CCleaner v2.13.720 which I believe to be the latest. I am running under Windows Vista Ultimate SP1. Bearing in mind that CCleaner v2.13.720 does contain all the expected options for Chrome support, I have them all checked but when I run a clean, all my "Most Visited" and history cache is all still there. I thought it might be a permissions issue with Vista, but all the IE and FF browser options work fine and deletes everything, but CCleaner v2.13.720 doesn't seem to even touch anything related to the Chrome browser. Can someone please enlighten me as to whether CCleaner supports Google Chrome or not? Thanks.

Every time I run CCleaner, my SafeSearch filter in IE7 (usually found under Google Images search), gets switched to Moderate. I want to control how this works and not have CCleaner keep changing it Is there an option/setting in CCleaner to stop it from touching the SafeSearch filter in IE7? My CCleaner version is 2.0.4.543 Thanks.
