This is the "network" download--meant for administrators who need to
be able to apply the update to many different machines.

Bummer...The roll out has been held up -

The RTM build is not up on this side of the pond, yet.
I think folks are grabbing whatever URLs they can find in a rush to install the upgrade.

There will certainly be a heavy server load for this much-anticipated upgrade.
Since MS has now fixed Vista - they want happy XP users, we shall see.
As I've said elsewhere, you might expect some Vista bits in this update, I do not know for sure.

The RTM of XP SP3 is officially scheduled for April 29.
I would not mess with anything else until then.

Good to hear the file is working well for you.Well, that was easy! I installed the hosts file and no problems yet. (I'm a little paranoid about not making my computer screw up, because I've broken 2 computers so far.)Silj

Being an advanced memeber, I should not to walk you though thisHow do you remove the file? Do you delete the hosts file that you downloaded? -
Just remove the file and you will revert to your original set-up.Is there anyway to remove the MVPS HOSTS file and go back to the system's original if your system screws up?Silj

LS Users may use the web update feature.
SE Users *must* manually update using one of the two below URLs

I wasn't suggesting you were having issues with my replies, any mal-intent is apologized for. We all need to learn but not on outdated software.

SpyBot has a similar HOSTS File with many redundant entries.
Therefore, do not run it or use it.

Let's not get into a debate here, Kerio 2.1.5 is outdated Don't Run It!
Silj
-
You don't want to run Kerio 2.1.5 since it now has security holes - unfortunatley.
Windows Firewall works for me, FWIW.

I'd probably go with NOD32, free A-V's don't do half the job of a low-cost A-V.I'm using McAfee Security Centre. When the subscription runs out, i'm probably switching to the free Avast!Silj
-
That would be correct, Ken - thanks.Yes.The Spybot S&D HOSTS file is not validated as frequently as the MVPS HOSTS file and leaves many useless entries in the file.
Silj

Always a pleasure, Dennis - enjoy the benefits of the file.Got that Silj, thanks.Silj
