  1. Hello Unfortunately this does not work. The error still appears and then after clicking 'OK' the newly deleted file gets deleted. Thanks Kevin
  2. Hello Yes, I did get the prompt and did answer 'Yes'. I even tried deleting the 'Recycle Bin' from my other partitions but I am still having the problem. Thanks in advance Kevin
  3. Hello and thanks for the welcome. Thanks for the tip, unfortunately it has not fixed the problem. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance Kevin
  4. Hello all I have been a user of CCleaner for a few months now with no problems whatsoever, however, after installing the latest version (2.02.527) the standard XP Empty Recycle Bin command no longer works without throwing up the error 'Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk', however, before bringing up this error it does empty the Recycle Bin. I can run CCleaner from the Recycle Bin context menu and it empties the Recycle Bin fine and without error. I have checked the 'C:\Recycler' directory and there are no files or directories present. Before installing the latest version of CCleaner I did have the previous version installed. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Kevin
