    Typo

I think it is a result of the cultural divide. American English will say 'Analyzing' while English English will say 'Analysing'. Or am I just telling nonsense?
  2. Maybe CCleaner should remove those backup's of the host file...
  3. Plus: the vast majority of these 1100 and 170 items will be re-created instantly if they are removed. Not much true gain there.

    yardım edinnn

It won't help you but it is Turkish. Even Babelfish lets us down here.
  5. @spelbynder: Lots of PC's come pre-installed with all sort of programs you don't really need. You could use PC-decrapifier to remove these programs. Download here.
  6. You could try to use StartUpLite. See here for more info.
  7. I am confident that Trend Micro only added the AnalyseThis button to assist users. Naturally they hope that new infections will be reported back to them because they can add this to their databases. But spyware? No, I don't think so.
  8. Just call it CoolDefrag (CDefrag).
  9. You can easily update RegSeeker's exclusion file with Andavari's suggestions. - Download RegSeeker customized exclude.ini file here. - Just download it to your desktop. - Open RegSeeker, go the the 'Clean the registry' section and hit the 'Exclusions' button. - Then hit the 'Import' button and find the exclude.ini file you just downloaded. - Hit 'Open' and the editor will only import the different keys.
  10. RegSeeker 1.55 is out. Does it encorporate your 'suggestions'?

    AVG Free

It isn't going to be added in v1.40.520.
  12. I'm not exactly sure what you mean but X-Cleaner (xblock.com) has a little known feature (Pictures) that enables you to examine an entire hard drive at once, find all the pics that were left behind, and delete the ones you don't need anymore with one click.
  13. CWShredder hasn't been updated since November 2005 (mainly because CoolWebSearch has moved on to other types of malware) and, technically, HijackThis isn't truly anti-spyware but a sort of diagnostic tool.
  14. But it all amounts to a bit of cheating if you want to remove the nag screen. I had AntiVir for a little while too because it really is a very good program. But I changed back to Grisoft AVG Free because of the nag screen in AntiVir plus it doesn't scan your incoming e-mail. Which is also an important feature these days.
  15. Neh, just enter 'x', 'x@hotmail.com' and 'x'.

    AVG Free

Andavari, Why don't you give this solution its rightful place next to your RegSeeker customized exclude.ini file ? That way more users can take advantage of this temporary addition.
  18. Maybe it's just because they seem relics of an old and almost forgotten age... But that's exactly way why I'm keeping them. Call me a sentimental guy.

  21. Yes, but these bugs shouldn't in it in the first place... I agree that bugs have to be fixed and languages have to be updated but I would like to see some new applicatons that are cleaned by CCleaner.
  22. Maybe it's a bit like 'The lady doth protest too much, methinks' from Shakespeare's Hamlet' but I really think that if CCleaner wants to be the best cleaner in the world it needs to focus on things to clean. And not on bugfixes, updated translations, etc. Sorry, I know I'm sounding like a party pooper but CCleaner really needs new cleaning features.
