It appears that the lock screen thing may be working. I don't get how it's connected to ccleaner.

I have tried all or most of these. I'm past that. It's ccleaner that's causing the problem. When I uninstall ccleaner, the problem goes away.

It's simply the edge browser with a Bing search. It's not an error message.

I have ccleaner on 4 home computers. Each one has an edge browser popup on reboot or wakeup. People have repeatedly told me one of my apps is causing this. So out of curiosity I uninstalled ccleaner on one computer and the popups stopped. What do I do?

I have jump lists unchecked. I have Excel.exe excluded. Still, it wipes the jump lists from the excel file on my task bar.

I tried it again. Worked better but I get thousands of duplicates for example that include OneDrive. I don't see a way to exclude paths or programs.

? So how do you exclude jumplists. I think I saw it in the customization in which case it would be unchecked.

Once I use CCleaner, my excel jump list hides from my task bar in win10. I have excluded *.xlsx, but that doesn't help. As soon as I open Excel, the entire jump list reappears.

Uninstalling before I got these responses did work. Then I reinstalled and the bug was gone.

a few days ago I downloaded a new version of ccleaner. 5.87.9306 windows 10 pro 64bit.

some programs are freezing momentarily when I close them. 

 

I have virtually nothing checked in advanced options or settings. Just wondering if it's Ccleaner.

I have an Excel icon on my taskbar. when I right click I get all my recent files. When I run CCleaner it deletes them. In Excel I have a high number as the number of previous files to show.
