When I run the registry cleaner and click fix selected issues. Ccleaner seems to delete all the selected issues. But when I click on scan for issues again the same active X issues and Missing TypeLib Reference issues show up again.
This has been happening for quite a while. I have tried to re-install CCleaner but to no avail. I have asked other people who use CCleaner but they are all stumped.
I am running windows 7, 64 bit. Would appreciate your input.

One thing I would add is to use Erunt to backup the registry.

I personally have never had to restore the registry as a result of using CCleaner's Registry section. I find it to be non-aggressive compared to other cleaners.

I did a resistry cleanup and I am now having problems sending e mails. I did create a backup. How do I reinstall it into my computer.

What type of firewall do you use?
I use Zone Alarm Free. Ive been using it for 2 or 3 years. I'm very satisfied with it, and would recommend it to anyone.

Hi all. This is the first time that I am on the forum. I have a Maxtor Onetouch III that I use as an external backup. I ran CCleaner on my registry a couple of days ago and I want to do a backup on the Maxtor. Is the stuff that I deleted on my computer, on my Maxtor and will it go back on the computer, If it does how do I get it off the Maxtor?
