A change not mentioned for V4 01. It no longer works with Windows 2000 Pro Service pack 4. Well, it may do but a an OS check in the installer won't let it.

Hello folks. I have a 'dead' 300GB SATA NTFS drive. It was partitioned as boot/80GB/200GB. When I start a scan with Recuva, it quickly finds 36,483 files by about 12% of scan. It then carries on for another hour or so and completes the scan but it finds no more files. The vast majority of the ones it finds are recoverable but there should be some 960,000 files in all. Any ideas? Regards Stuart

Hi folks. When I scan for 'Issues' (Registry) I get about forty "ActiveX/COM" results. I go through the 'fix it' process yet an immediate re-scan shows them all back again. "Registry Mechanic" says I have no problems. Any ideas? Regards Stuart
