These days, there are pretty much free alternatives to everything. Most of the time, those alternatives are better than the paid ones.

I'm trying it out now, and I was pleasantly surprised with the speed. Loads even faster than Office 2010 Beta for me! I'm really liking it so far.

@Ident: I haven't noticed a single slowdown with my internet while using Avast 5's web shield. Maybe you're having a conflict with Avast 5 and another program?

I installed these updates yesterday, and I haven't noticed any problems yet, even with a computer restart. I guess I must be one of the lucky ones.

I've also turned Buzz off. I don't even use any social networking sites, so why start now?

I'm not sure whether that was the issue, because my blog was originally locked for "spam", then it got deleted. I do hope that it gets restored though.

Nope. That's the other thing that's making me mad. They randomly locked my blog, and when I sent a request to unlock it, they sent an automated message that says that I was violating the terms of service (which I wasn't, and I'm pretty sure of that!) and that my blog had been deleted. I deserve to know exactly why they deleted my blog. Ah well, nothing to do about it now, and there's no point in starting a new blog, as all my work was in the old one that got deleted by blogger.

I just had a major template disaster with my blog, and I just got everything set up just the way I want it. This morning, when I went to make a new post on it, my blog had apparently been locked due to spam. WTF?! So I sent an unlock request, and they replied saying that I had violated their Terms of Service. HOW THE **** DID I DO THAT? I haven't posted any bad content! They also said that my blog had been deleted. So, all my hard work in creating and having a good blog just went down the drain. I am so ****ing mad at Blogger right now. Never again will I be recommending them for ANYTHING.

Well, I've come to you guys to ask another favor regarding my website. I'm thinking about changing the template for it, but I can't seem to find a good template to switch to. The only template I've found so far that I like is this template called Colorbold. Problem is, I'm not sure how to change the RSS link for the RSS button at the corner of the screen, and how to change the Twitter link. If anyone can tell me how I could change those to a link of my choosing, that would be great! If not, any professional looking blogger template suggestions would also be nice!

Welcome back mr.brownstone! By the way, could you upload your pictures at a different image hosting site from now on? Apparently, ImageBam now has adult pop up ads that appear when you view a picture uploaded on their site. Luckily, my hosts file is blocking it.

I've also noticed that it's a very clean site. I haven't had any popups or ads of any sort.

I've got a LinkSys 2.4 GHz, 802.11g wireless adapter. I've had it for about a year now, and I like it in general. I get a fast speed, good connection reliability, it it hasn't randomly stopped working on me unlike some other wireless adapters I've tried. One thing that I do find annoying is the constant positioning of the wireless adapter to get the best signal strength and speed. Other than that, I like it.

This looks like a great utility. Now I'll have to make a post on my website about it. Thanks Hazel.
