  1. That's the funniest thing I've seen for a long time. @Redhawk: He made the video using this site: http://www.xtranormal.com/
  2. One key fact that I noticed immediately was that this program was completely free, while you have to buy the full version of Macrium with all of it's features, and the free version is missing some features (though they may not be important).

    Backupify

I recently got an email from Backupify, an online service that I use to backup some of my online services such as Gmail, about a very cool offer. Basically, I can invite 5 people with their email addresses to sign up for an account with Backupify. If all 5 people accept their invitation from me and sign up, my Backupify account gets upgraded for free to their highest service level which would cost me about $60 if I bought it. There is also a bonus for the people I send an invitation to as well. When they sign up with my invitation, their Backupify account gets upgraded to premium for free, worth $40. I have 5 invitations to give away, so if you're interested, send me your email in a PM and I will send you the invitation, which, if you sign up for, your account will be upgraded to premium for free. Here's the link to Backupify: http://www.backupify.com/ It's definitely a pretty cool service. I'm sorry, but this giveaway is first come, first served. I will notify everyone when I have given away all of my invitations.
  4. You never know when this might come in handy.

    Mangatar

Ever wonder how so many people on Twitter and many other websites have a cartoon-like face avatar that actually looks pretty cool? Well now, here's how you can get one of your own: http://www.faceyourmanga.it/welcome.htm Here's me:
  6. The internet is just too big to be able to have one kill switch that would shut down the whole thing. It's just the government worried about hackers.
  7. Don't use this program. It's completely destroyed many computers because upon uninstallation, it corrupted the MBR, resulting in the computer being unbootable. Comodo should have this program as alpha or beta at the least.
  8. www.kongregate.com Great site. It's clean, it's got great games, it's an active community, and it's got this badge system where you can get badges for achieving certain things in different games. You should definitely try it out.
  9. I've just installed the latest desktop build of Opera, and since it has transparency support for Windows 7, it looks horrible on XP. Is there anyway to disable the transparency of Opera so that it is normal again?
  10. I'm very sorry to hear about your Dad's death Lulu. I wish your family the best in the future.
  11. I've also gotten tired of Chrome/Chromium's resource hogging. Even though it's user interface makes it look sleek and fast, it's actually quite bloated. On my computer, Chromium took up over 300 megs of disk space, while FF & Opera took under 50. I am not going back to Chromium soon.
  12. My birthday already passed lol. April 22.

    Minefield

Minefield right now is the 3.7 Alpha build.
  14. I also have my cache size set to 0 for the same reason as Anomaly.
  15. I didn't know Piriform had a thumbnail feature already there. I guess I'll use it now.
  16. The Lord of the Rings. I think you guys are all forgetting about one important movie that came out last year: Avatar.
  17. New Desktop: http://imgur.com/35JeM.jpg
  18. I'm using a theme called Luna Inspirat: Luna Inspirat It comes with a Styler skin as well.

    Minefield

I use Minefield as my main web browser everyday, and as you guys all probably know, it's the nightly build of Firefox. For those of you who are not using it, I just thought I might show you what's new from the stable versions of Firefox: I'll update this topic if more changes occur with Minefield.
  20. I'm probably going to switch to Ubuntu. I just need to find some time to do it.
  21. Really? Well, there's another reason for me to not to use Avira.
  22. Thanks Aethec. So the registry file itself is to hide the menu bar, and then the VBS file next to it is to restore the menu bar?
  23. I'm currently using XP. Also, I've tried the AskVG method. It works when you aren't using Styler, but it doesn't work when you are using Styler.
