I don't know what it is scanning that 1.41.544 isn't, but it's just way too slow for everyday cleanup. I had to revert to 1.41.544. Sorry, 2.X is just too slow.

It's close to 10x slower for my fully patched WinXP system. I reverted to 1.41.544.

I just have it set for simple deletion, but I've noticed a lot more cycles with version 2.X than 1.X. In my case, it finishes, but it seems a lot slower in my daily cleanups than the previous version.

The new version seems to analyze far longer than version 1.X. I run CCleaner daily. Usually it runs through the progress bar once or twice. Now, it goes through several cycles each time. I'd say it takes 2-3 times as long as version 1.X. Odd, since it was supposedly entirely rewtitten and optimized. I ran it on my daughter laptop that had never been cleaned. I just let it run. It must have taken 20 minutes.
