  1. I've been using Recuva for quite some times and finally discovered that it does a poor job recovering deleted image files from a SD card. I ran a test on a SD card that was formatted and new files stored on it. Recuva recovers some files only, even with a deep scan activated In comparison, Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery is excellent and recovered 100's Why such a difference regarding photos? What is so special about this type of files?
  2. The drives getting very large, it would be a great improvement having the capability to scan only specified folders or file name or type
  3. I have a partitionned HD with Recuva installed on D: When I launch the scan on C drive, Recuva immediatly close down It works fine on D drive I run Recuva v1.04.104 MS Windows XP Pro SP2 on a laptop Dell D610 Pentium 1.6GHz, 1.5GB RAM 60GB HD partitionned NTFS C and D Motherboard Dell D610 with Chipset Intel Alviso-G i915GM HD is TOSHIBA MK6026GAX (60 Go, 5400 RPM, Ultra-ATA/100) When I was running Recuva v1.02, selecting a scan on C would simply hang the whole program.
