  1. Windows 10 20H2 x64 Default browser: Edge Chromium ESET Internet Security 14.0.22.0 The only blockers are Ublock Origin in Firefox and Edge. ESET firewall is not blocking any CCleaner traffic. Hosts file is empty (default) Prior to this I would have been on the last release. Of note is that I updated as soon as 5.75 was released. I only received the one previously described notification until Monday and again today - I've now had 4 today. I've not received any other messages. My cookie whitelist is purely the CCleaner default. *.avast.com *.ccleaner.com *.ccleanercloud.com *.piriform.com I also set up a Win 10 20H2 VM yesterday and it is having the same multiple notifications. Security is entirely Windows built-in.
  2. I too am having this issue with the "Your CCleaner has had a free Update". I have all the cookies referenced in Dave CCleaner's post as cookies to keep. In 2 hours today I've seen the notification 3 times and I've lost count how many times I saw it yesterday. Thanks
  3. I noticed the same problem with my Win 7 x64 + IE10 setup. Reverted to the previous CCleaner build until its fixed.
  4. In the latest build, system restore is showing no restore points even though there are plenty of restore points present. xp sp3 all updates
  5. Hi, running xp sp2 CCleaner v2.01.507 Run (in Start Menu) ie. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU, is still cleaned if Internet Explorer>History is checked, regardless of whether Run (in Start Menu) is checked. Uncheck Internet Explorer>History and then the RunMRU is only cleaned if Run (in Start Menu) is checked. Obviously something that still needs fixing.
  6. Using build 2.00.500 on xp sp2. I did a bit of testing and found that the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU is deleted when Internet Explorer - History is checked. If you uncheck it, then the key is only deleted if Run - In start menu is checked. btw. If you remove the key path from winsys.ini, it's still deleted if History is checked. Hopefully this info may help in tracing the problem.
  7. In the latest beta 2 build, the Run (in start menu) is always cleared regardless of the setting.
