  3. nukecad all it basically means is the key will be used across all Piri/Avast products. (Dave may have used AI to write it for him and it used as many words as it could )
  4. Please contact CCleaner directly for reassurance. Support contact on the web https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=86507 or via email support@ccleaner.com
  5. Okay so now I understand. Everywhere on your PC Macrium is showing the correct install date. Only CCleaner shows it wrong under Tools? CCleaner gets its uninstall information from Windows. What language is CCleaner installed in? What drive do you have Macrium installed on? I wonder if it is just a problem with the portable build, here is what CCleaner slim build shows for me
  6. Is it the same problem? https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/64286-ccleaner-deletes-start-menu-entries
  7. @Rothirsch For some reason your machine must have been unable to calculate the correct date at Macrium install so it reverted to Unix time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time I see you have latest version of Macrium so it must be a paid version. How about sending them an email? Where are you seeing extras/uninstall?
  8. @leniows Try unticking Windows tab.. Advanced section...Window Size/Location Cache
  9. @bobbyixp See this page here, it gives all the info you need about CCleaner browser. https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028862271-What-tools-are-included-in-CCleaner-Browser-and-what-do-they-do On the right is mentioned Web Shield. Click on it. In the paragraph is the link to report anything you consider to be a False Positive. (I know it was Web Shield as I installed CCBrowser to see what had flagged that site)
  10. No need to get offensive when I'm just trying to help okay? See here https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds EDIT... by the way, did you not scroll down to the bottom of the page (the one you showed a doc for)
  11. Just downloaded it from CCleaner website. It shows the version on the setup.exe
  12. Email... support@ccleaner.com on the web... https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=86507
  13. Have a look here to see if anything helps https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/64255-installation-error-v60910300-0x6-this-handle-is-invalid/
  14. Well it might be a Win 11 thing then or the fact that I did a clean install. At install I got a similar screen to you but after I messed around turning everything off and opened CC again it had gone away.
  15. Just installed this build from scratch on Win 10. I would suggest you have a look at the Settings in the panel on the left and make sure that Custom Clean is chosen and that you turn off EVERYTHING in Settingsthat you do not want. After a quick check I see that when I turn off automatic updates etc in Settings/Updates, and then I go to the Smart Screen option and turn it off I get this warning saying it will stop automatic updates. Silly me... I thought that is what the Update settings were for.
  16. Seems to be a bit of an ongoing issue over the years. See here to see if the suggestions help. https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/58573-0x6-the-handle-is-invalid/#comment-321089
  17. Right-click on your C drive and select Properties. Select the General tab from the top. Press on Disk Cleanup. Choose what you want to clean and click OK. (may take a while to run) When it is finished, on that same disk cleanup window select Clean up System Files which is at the bottom. It will run and may take a while. Have a coffee and relax. When it is finished, restart machine and run CCleaner .
  18. What was it cleaning according to the ccleaner window when it stopped at 39%
  19. It may be better to contact CCleaner directly either by email support@ccleaner.com or webpage https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=86507
  20. Try using the uninstaller in CCleaner itself to uninstall it (tools, highlight ccleaner and click uninstall) and please give more info on your Windows version and other info as it's hard to guess on your problem otherwise. Where are you right clicking for example?
  21. What version of Windows? What build of CCleaner? What does it say in the window that it is stuck at? Are you using custom clean, health check or what?
