  1. What anti virus are you using? What operating system are you running?
  2. First see if you have the latest Trend Micro https://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us/home/pages/technical-support/maximum-security/home.aspx If you have, and you still cannot open CCleaner, read here to whitelist it. https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/57702-ccleaner-not-working-after-update/?tab=comments#comment-317617
  3. As a troubleshooting thing to try, whitelist CCleaner in Norton , if it runs ok then, it's Norton preventing it.
  4. Sorry Kevin, I don't use a mac or Total AV so cannot really suggest anything else. Perhaps check CCleaner isn't already running in background? (If you used it before)
  5. Will it open if you whitelist it, eclude it in realtime scanner (as a test to see if it's your AV that is blocking it) https://support.totalav.com/en/kb/article/148/how-can-i-exclude-certain-files-or-folder-paths-from-scanning
  6. See in the link I posted https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/57702-ccleaner-not-working-after-update/?tab=comments#comment-317617
  7. Not if the hard drive cannot be seen.
  8. You could try installing the Trend Micro upgrade. https://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us/home/pages/technical-support/maximum-security/home.aspx Or whitelist CCleaner https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/57702-ccleaner-not-working-after-update/?tab=comments#comment-317617
  9. System Restore might be your only bet
  10. By default the reg backup is saved to My Documents.
  11. Try whitelisting CCleaner following the steps here https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/57702-ccleaner-not-working-after-update/?tab=comments#comment-317617 Do you mean you have bought CCleaner twice to try and get it to work?
  12. What problem are you having with the download? Can you download it but it won't install or run? What operating systems do you have? What anti virus do you use?
  13. Try whitelisting as shown here https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/57702-ccleaner-not-working-after-update/?tab=comments#comment-317617
  14. Have you installed the Trend Micro upgrade? https://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us/home/pages/technical-support/maximum-security/home.aspx Have you tried this? https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/57702-ccleaner-not-working-after-update/?tab=comments#comment-317617
  15. What anti virus are you using?
  16. Do you mean you cannot find a download (see here for one) https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds Or do you mean that it won't install or open? What anti virus do you use?
  17. Can you tell me what anti virus you use please Joe?
  18. Good to know you are sorted
  19. Unfortunatly Health Check uses it's own set of cleaning rules (not the ones on the left hand side of CCleaner interface) I don't know how you could get all the info you have lost back. I suggest that you change to 'Custom Clean' by opening CCleaner.. Options.. Settings and at the top select Custom Clean instead of Health Check. This then will clean what YOU select. The mods here have asked Piriform about the lack of info and warnings on what Health Check can do to users machines. But to no avail.
  20. So you have installed the Trend Micro upgrade? https://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us/home/pages/technical-support/maximum-security/home.aspx Have you tried this? https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/57702-ccleaner-not-working-after-update/?tab=comments#comment-317617
