Try going to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services, WebClient. Properties. Disable...apply and reboot. According to blackviper, presently there's no purpose for running Webclient.

I?m using Portable FireFox. This is a stand-alone version of FF that runs from my USB flash drive. Cookies, history, cache and favorites are stored on the flash drive rather than the PC. This allows me to surf from someone else?s computer without leaving any evidence. This particular PC has CCleaner installed but it?s not cleaning the removable drive?any suggestions?
