Hi guys , I thought I was having problems because I had no options to do anything with the Recycle Bin on the Desktop. Is not being able to remove the "Recycle Bin" from the Desktop some sort of "Windows" Safety-Measure?

Hi tomcat , my machine is 2 years old! and when it was new' it was only a "mid-spec" machine! not entry level! and certainly not high end! I was saying compared to the machines that I use "and curse " every day at work, my PC is great! And it is running as it should, thanks to the excellent help and advice that I have received here at "Piriform Forums" .

Hi Andarvari , things have probably changed a lot over the year's, I remember my Marantz CD player "CD-60" having 2 lock down plastic thumb screws under the bottom of the unit. They were there to stop any movement during shipping, and had to be unlocked for the player to work. Sorry, I was thinking along those lines... and "slowday" I hope you get it sorted

Could it be some sort of protective packaging in the optical drive to stop any damage during shipping?

Hi Anthony , I got "Rocket Dock" but I'm still trying to work out how to have a 3D looking dock? I mean display the icon's on top of the dock. My dock is 2D to look at, the icon's are flat against it.

Hi JD , CCleaner has a "Startup" list in the "Tools" section, however the only option (Unfortunately) is to delete any highlighted entry.

Hi all What's the easiest and safest way to stop! a "program" for example: (Realtek's Sound Manager) from automatically starting & placing it's icon in the system tray? The program dose give me a "check box" option to: (Show icon in system tray) however there is no option for stopping the program from starting at system startup! I can uncheck this program in the "startup" list in (msconfig), is this the "normal" way to do this?
