  1. Thanks JRd1st that took care of the problem. I wonder why the CCleaner crew didn't mention that.
  2. When I run the cleaner it says there are 1.23mB of files to be deleted. I run the cleaner and it says it has deleted 134 bytes and displays 3 items. However, if I run the cleaner again, it shows the same 123mB of files to be removed. When I scan for issues, I get 62 issues. I select "Fix all issues". The dialog box says it fixed 62 of 62 issues. I select "Close" and the screen is clear of issues. However, if I scan for issues again, it shows 60 of the 62 are still there. Further scans and fixes have no effect. I read on the FAQ's here that CCleaner was fully checked out for Vista, which is my operating system "What operating systems does CCleaner work with? Fully tried and tested with Windows 95/98/NT4/ME/2000/XP/2003/Vista. It's currently partially compatible with 64bit Windows XP, there are a few non-critical issues which are still being worked on. There are no Mac or Linux versions." I read elsewhere in this forum that the problem can be fixed with a program called "Dial-A-Fix". Unfortunately, "Dial-A-Fix" does not run on Vista. Either in normal mode or safe mode through the command prompt window. Can someone give me a hand to get CCleaner working on my Vista machine.
