  1. I thought you meant you were making the icons see through like glass (transparent) not just changing their font color.

    Bandwidth

I went here to test out my bandwidth after I got my new router. http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/ It said that my connection was 3.8 megabits. I have a cable connection through Adelphia. What is your connection? I was just curious how my connection compared to other cable or dsl connections.
  9. I just bought a linksys 802.11G wireless router. I have set it up through the cd that came with it and my internet works but I cant find any install files on my pc. How do I change the settings on the router without reinstalling it? Also I am going to buy a PSP and I know that they have wifi access. Can it connect through my new router? I need to know because I live in a pretty rural area and there are no hotspots around. Last question, If I was to buy a second router can the two "talk to each other" without the second one needing to have a direct ethernet connection? I need to know this because I want to hook my Xbox and PS2 to the internet but I have no connection in my tv room and my office is downstars. Here is the deal I got on my router which I think is pretty good. http://www.staples.com/Catalog/Browse/Sku....pe=1&Sku=509558.
  10. I dont have microsoft office and have been using Star Office 8 (I got it for free during the beta trials). I love it, it makes powerpoint and excel documents with ease, plus they seem to be fully compatible with ms office. The only thing I didnt like was the word processor. I went to the above mentioned site and saw a link for abiword and it works perfectly. I do have ms works and this is deffinately a step above that pos.
  11. he must not be. he hasnt responded to anyone who has called him a spammer. I think if he was human than he wouldnt keep putting that link on every post he puts up either.
  12. I just know that both of them have active scanners(spyware guard on spyware blaster) and I figured it would be like running two antiviruses and cause lots of problems.
  13. I wanted to try that but I was afraid to run that at the same time as microsoft antispyware beta.
  14. I thought this guy was a spammer. Wasnt he banned?

  22. I finally fixed my error 1606. I just used my pc's restore partition. It didnt even deleate all of my files! I just have to reinstall all of my programs .
  23. Is their a reason why I cant add atachments to my posts anymore? I try and nothing happens.
  24. Also, Im thinking about just using my restore partition to fix this. I have a brand new Compaq PC and it has a restore partition on it. I was wondering if anyone has used this before and if it went smoothely or not, also about how long did it take?.
