Thanks for the reply. Please excuse my ignorance, but are Index.dat files cookies too? What kind of cookies does CCleaner NOT delete when the Cookies box is unchecked?

I don't understand why, if I UNCHECK "Cookies" in the Cleaner section of CCleaner, CCleaner still deletes ALL my cookies, in particular the ones which contain my log in info (username/password). What happens if I CHECK the Cookies box??

This is my first post and this issue is the reason I joined the forum at this time. Even though I uncheck the "cookies" box on CCleaner, it erases my cookies!! What is going on? Thanks.
