The world is going ot be fine. Its mankind that is screwed. The planet has survived alot worse. How long were dinosaurs around? Then they were gone. Then came humans, soon we will all be gone. . . . then possibly, all the cartoon characters will come to life and spring off paper what with all the alien and raditaion outer worldly influences; and earth will be populated with Peter Griffins and Voltron? Thats as plausable as rouge black holes.

My issue is this. Why do we care so much about "these" people? By these i mean celebritys. What about the people that do this in our own backyards and the only press they get is an obituary? I grew up skateboarding with an amzingly talented young man who was into drugs and becasue his girl cheated on him he hung himself. Not only that when the obituary was written there was no mention of his talents, how he died, and how many young kids not unlike myself looked up to him. Sure his habits were less then desireable... but no less desireable then some of these hollywood-ites we put on pedestals? In the faces of our children, newspapers, magazines and the very movies we look forward to seeing, buying, and such. Same applies to music or any other form of entertainment. So why all the fuss over the Heaths and Anna Nicoles? Also worthy of note, considering these people spend half their time in a land of make beleive (acting) i have always thought that they may suffer from some altered state of reality or suffer multiple personality disorder. . . . its no wonder half of them are effed up beyond belief. They quite literally arent themselves half the time. Food for thought.

Anyone else use this? When i set a new task, and set the time it jumps it ahead two hours.???? Also When i set it repeat weekly and its set for monday it highlights all sundays... This is really frustrating. I like this program becasue it is integrated into Thunderbird, but it seems ot have some bugs. Wondering if Songbird is any better?

Sadly im not up on my Mp3 player technology. As a muscian i still really enjoy casettes and compact disks. HAHA. Im the only guy on the bus with a Walkman (casette) But. I am looking at swtiching over to Mp3 technology. So im wondering if anyone out there has a touch screen Mp3 Player they could give me the pros and cons on. I looked at the Apple touch screen one. but if there are any others out there, id like ot know about them. I am going ot goole it obviously but id like info from an actual user. i could.. but then its just more to clean up after the fact. i figure a one button click to yahoo or google is better then creating a new file, opening, copying, pasting into browser, closinging it all, deleting the text file, and emptying the recycle bin. but now i just look like a moron for having wasted the time to type out the steps... so i suppose.... 6 is one half a dozen is another.

In the unistall feature of CCleaner under the "delete entry" button, maybe add a new button, where the user can highlight an entry and when you hit the button it brings up search suggestions in yahoo or google or something. "get info" or some thing like that? For a lazy ass like me who cant be bothered to retype it in a browser it might be a positive feature?

Depend on no one, and do your own research and make your own conclusions. Every investment i made on "hot tips" to my inbox was a crock of crap. I made one good investment in an online company called blue nile. and it even got hit hard last week. But again. You got my respect.

after yesterday im dying. wednesday i went to sleep .. in the green by about 8000 dollars... last night went to sleep with my investments in the red by 3000 dollars. Im glad its just play money, but it kinda gives me a new understanding about why some of these investors are throwing themselves off tall buildings. loose everything in the blink of an eye.

www.investopedia.com knowing nothing of the stock market and how it works this site is great. addicitve. informative and has alot of tools to learn with. And its all sorta real time numbers. Just a 20 mintue delay on all major stock exchnages numbers. Ive made some real bonehead trades. like investing in wellcare when the bottom dropped out due to FBi raids investigating frauds... hoping it was false. It wasnt. Oops. We all make mistakes. And thankfully its not real money. but sign up and well compare notes.
