yea, i don't know who makes their installer either, but either way i think we agree that it's not too good. i have noticed that Symantec makes uninstallers, or at least i think they are made by them, to use to uninstall their products because the ones that come it don't work very well. NOD32's online support is great, you can check for yourself at the link below http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15 there is also a member of the forum called Blackspear who has made a very clearly made and easy to follow guide on setting it up., which includes pictures for just about the best protection you can get use NOD32, it has the best heuistics in the world and is very low on resourses, or instead of NOD, F-Prot is very similar. and use one of those Anti-Viruses with BOClean for a very low resourse anti-trojan

am i missing something here? the installer has issuses? doesn't that mean bad programming?. and what about setting up the installer incorrectly? wouldn't that be poor programming too? or are you trying to say that maybe the installer was made by a different company so it doesn't count?

i don't like Norton AV if that's what you are talking about, it's a resourse hog and is far too difficult to uninstall which both mean poor programming. then there is the nonexistent support. you shouldn't have to put up with any of those things especially when there are better AVs around. but, if you have it installed already and aren't having any problems with it i would keep it, but uninstall the real-time scanner and go with Anti-Vir. it has the best heuristics of the free AVs. then you can use NAV as an on demand scanner. doing that you should find a marked increase with your computer's speed.

hi, i have used CC for nearly a year now and i love it thank you. but, i too would love it to be able to overwrite the data it deletes, using pseudorandom patterns and options for the number of overwriting passes made. what are the chances of it happening? thanks.
